GOSHEN, Ind. -- The Elkhart Humane Society " Paws for cause" Saturday morning. The event featured a 5k run and a one mile walk with about 300 participants. There were plenty of dog-related activities including bandana making and dog biscuit baking, and over 30 vendors were present to offer pet-related information and services.
Veterinarians were also present as well as adoptable dogs are on-site for those interested in pet adoption. The event was held in partnership with the county parks and aims to provide a day of fun and education for pet owners.
