The victim, 17-year-old Bryan Ramirez-Gomez, was in a car with a group of friends after hours at the park when police pulled up.
Investigators say the teen opened fire with a gun first before officers shot and killed him.
The Elkhart Police Department has denied ABC57's requests to release the bodycam footage of the incident.
Regarding the last "critical forensic analysis," Becker stated, "Once that information is received, I will be able to evaluate the case and make a decision."
