ELKHART, Ind. – The Elkhart County Parks is now offering free virtual field trips for educators and students.
Due to COVID-19 traditional field trips aren’t an option for many schools.
The Elkhart County Parks will have a lineup of interactive science and social studies programs.
Teachers in the area can book a free 45 minute virtual experience with a naturalist or museum curator.
The topics that will be talked about include:
- Mammals
- Predators and prey
- Animal tracks and signs
- Native cultures and the fur trade
