ELKHART, Ind. -- City leaders in Elkhart are discussing the possibility of establishing a Rental Inspection Program.
Members on The Public Health and Safety Committee met this evening to consider two ordinances, one for the program itself and the other allocating the necessary funds accordingly.
If approved, $95,000 in initial funding would go towards implementing the Elkhart Rental Inspection Program.
The Committee is set to meet again on May 5.
