Elkhart celebrates lighting of Christmas tree at Central Park

ELKHART, Ind.—The City of Elkhart celebrated the lighting of its Christmas tree at Central Park near the intersection of Franklin and Waterfall with a countdown on Facebook Live on Monday.
Mayor Rod Roberson appeared in the video as the tree’s lights were turned on for the first time this season.
The city livestreamed the event on Facebook to avoid gathering in person.
