Edwardsburg school staffer tests positive for COVID-19

EDWARDSBURG, Mich. - A staff member at Edwardsburg Middle School is in quarantine after testing positive for COVID-19.

Several staff members are also quarantined because of close contact with the positive staff member.

The staff member’s identity has not been revealed due to federal health privacy laws.

“Please respect the employee’s privacy during this difficult time,” Superintendent James Knoll said via letter to the parents and staff.

All families that were directly impacted have been contacted by EPS or the county health department.

All areas that were potentially infected have been sanitized and the Middle School was the only school involved.
