GOSHEN, Ind. -- Downtown Goshen is set to host Goshen Gives Back on Mar. 6 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. for First Friday fun while also raising crucial funds for nonprofit organizations that do important work throughout the Elkhart County community.

Attendees can eat, drink, and shop for a good cause at Goshen Gives Back knowing that a percentage of their purchases at participating businesses and locations will be donated automatically to a local, not-for-profit partner charity.

In addition, select downtown merchants, including Fables Books and Goshen's up-and-coming Catitude Cafe, host special First Friday promotions and present in-store activities for all to enjoy.

"Goshen Gives Back includes a built-in component of charitable giving," said Director of First Fridays, Amanda Rose. "While folks are having fun with their families, shopping, dining, and supporting Goshen businesses, they'll also be supporting the great work of many nonprofit organizations in our area. Just by joining the festivities and spending money at participating businesses, folks can know they are contributing, and this is a great example of why Elkhart County has such a feeling of unity and community spirit. Our organizations are always looking out for one another."
