DNR Parks and Recreation Division in Michigan hiring now for 1,000+ jobs

Michigan's DNR Parks and Recreation Division is in search of roughly 1,200 seasonal park workers and more than 50 seasonal park rangers to aid in state parks, forest campgrounds, harbors, and more.

Seasonal park workers are key employees who provide customer service and perform daily park duties.

Workers can earn between $10 and $11.60 an hour and may qualify for academic/internship credit.

Seasonal park rangers are commissioned and noncommissioned frontline staff fulfilling day-to-day operations and maintenance and other essential duties.

Parks rangers receive state benefits and are paid between $17.75 and $24.95 an hour.

“If you love the outdoors, these positions could be your calling,” stated PRD Administrative Services Section Chief, Michael Desnoyer.
