SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Now that Notre Dame students have headed home for the summer, one local industry is finding it difficult to find customers.
A local taxi company says that when students go home, business drops off.
On a busy day, ABC Express Cab says they may have up to 11 cabs at once.
However, the cab company did say that they generally have enough street business to keep things going but there is an occassional weird day when things are slow.
A dispatcher with the company said that there is a silver-lining.
When the weather turns hotter, people would rather stay in AC than cook themselves in the heat.
