GRANGER, Ind. - Crews were called to investigate a lightning strike to Clay Fire station 25's building Wednesday morning. The station is on Anderson and Bittersweet roads.
The incident was reported at 10:24 a.m.
According to the fire marshal, the strike hit the station's main antenna but did not cause a fire.
Instead, the strike caused smoke, which was all contained to one room.
Despite impact to the antenna, the station has battery systems in place so radios can still function and firefighters can still take calls from the community.
No one was injured in the incident.
