SOUTH BEND, Ind. — The University of Notre Dame, announcing an expansion of their “Pathways to Notre Dame” program this week.
The extension offers free tuition for any admitted and qualified undergraduate student whose family income is less than $150,000 per year.
Any student from a household that makes less than $200,000 will receive 50% off tuition and any household that makes less than $60,000 will have tuition, room and board covered.
Since the Pathways program began in 2024, the university has seen a 3% increase in student body representation from middle class families.
Their hope is that the extension will allow for families of all socioeconomic backgrounds to look past the sticker price and received a Notre Dame education.
