'Crazy about Corn' at Unity Gardens

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Unity Gardens will host "Crazy About Corn" as part of their After School Garden Club series on Monday, Sept. 2 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The free event will be the first of the after-school series which will take place on Mondays throughout September.

Organizers say the series is designed for kids 5 and up and each child should have an adult guardian with them.

The series will mix art, food science, and education, as participants explore fall favorite fruits and vegetables.

Attendees can expect activities and snacks matching the theme of the class for the day.
