UPDATE: Eighty-three-year-old Elizabeth Borkholder died from injuries related to the crash. The driver of a different vehicle, Juan Solano Cruz, was arrested on the preliminary charge of operating while intoxicated resulting in death.

ORIGINAL STORY:

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. - According to Elkhart County dispatch, a call came in around 9 p.m. Sunday about a crash on North Main Street in Nappanee.

Authorities say it happened near the 900 block of North Main Street, causing part of State Road 19 to be temporarily closed.
