Crash between motorcycle, deer in Sherman Township

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Mich. – A motorcycle driver has non-life-threatening injuries following a crash involving a deer on Sunday, the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office reported.

At 7:21 p.m., deputies were called to the intersection of Balk Road and Mintdale Road in Sherman Township for reports of a motor vehicle accident.

A motorcycle was traveling northbound on Balk Road when it collided with a deer in the roadway, deputies said.

The driver of the motorcycle was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
