Congressman Fred Upton wins Republican primary

One of the most watched races during Tuesday's primary was incumbent Fred Upton's Sixth District seat in the US House of Representatives. He was challenged in the Republican race by Elena Oelke, a real estate agent.
Upton has served as Berrien County's representative for 17 terms.
In the Democratic primary, State legislator Jon Hoadley of Kalamazoo and math teacher Jen Richardson are vying for the Democratic nomination.
