GOSHEN, Ind. -- The Goshen City Democratic Party held a meeting on immigration on Tuesday evening.
A group of speakers from the local community spoke out on how immigrants and families are affected.
Three students read stories submitted by Goshen College students anonymously.
Stories from local community members were also read on how their lives have been impacted.
Information about ICE and how the state of Indiana help assist ICE when it comes for looking and detaining immigrants was also discussed in the meeting.
At the end of the meeting, the Democratic Party had a Q and A, asking the speakers about ICE and how to support immigrants.
