SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Commuters Trust is a program teaming up with the city to launch a new branch of transportation relief to support those recovering from addiction. This relief comes in the form of bus passes, bus rides, or Uber rides.
The yearlong program will launch Sept. 1. The program is for organizations that support those in recovery to apply to and from there the organization can offer support to individuals. With this being a start-up program, individuals who apply will be subject to evaluation through the year long process to see where the program can grow and evolve for future years.
Applications are now open until June 26th and to apply visit the Commuters Trust website.
