City of South Bend jumpstarts St. Patrick's Day festivities

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- St. Patrick's Day is still a few days away, but the City of South Bend got a jump start on the celebrations!

Mayor Pete Buttigieg renamed a portion of Jefferson Boulevard Tuesday morning to St. Patrick's Boulevard.

The city's annual Saint Paddy's Day Parade steps off Saturday at 11 a.m.

That will be followed by the greening of the East Race!
