Christmas cards not the most popular holiday wish in present time

Now more than ever, people are using the internet to send their holiday wishes.

Social media has changed the way we interact, even during Christmas. Ecards, and websites such as “Elf Yourself” let people create their own greetings. Others use Facebook, or send a text.

The results are mixed on whether the message gets lost in translation.

Over the past five years, the post office says the number of Christmas cards sent has dropped about 10 percent each year.
