UPDATE: Two injured in crash on Indiana Toll Road

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- The Indiana State Police reports a section of eastbound lanes on the Toll Road near mile-marker 108.5 has been closed as of 5 p.m. Tuesday for a two-vehicle crash.
Police say a pick-up truck towing a trailer with a boat ran into the back of a semi-truck.
The pick-up driver is reported to have leg injuries, and a medical helicopter is en route to him. The crash caused extensive damage to the front of the Chevrolet. The driver, a Wisconsin man, was entrapped and had to be extricated. He was transported to Memorial Hospital in South Bend by MedFlight with serious, non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Freightliner was transported to Elkhart General Hospital for complaints of pain. It is believed that the Freightliner did have its hazard lights flashing at the time of the crash.
