SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Take a look at this police body cam footage released to ABC57 News. It shows the confrontation between South Bend Police and a man who claims officers used excessive force when they arrested him in November of 2022.
That man who made the claim is Marciio Perry. He was detained when police responded to reports of shots fired on Johnson Street.
This is just a small section of the video. It shows officers approaching Perry. Police claim he was walking from a house that technology known as ShotSpotter identified as the possible location of the gunfire.
ABC57's investigative reporter Kevin Warmhold provided an exclusive report.
