Starke County face-to-face with severe weather
After a large band of storms passes through Michiana, gusty conditions remain. A shower could be felt through the early morning hours, but the biggest threat to Michiana is going to be the 50 mph gusts that we will be feeling through the afternoon hours. Sunny and warm besides the breeze, still expecting a high in the 70s, though temperatures will be falling drastically through the overnight hours, with another chance for rain that could switch to snow or mixed precipitation when you wake up Sunday morning. Significantly cooler temperatures to start off the week, we do warm back to the 60s by Wednesday, with another round of rain expected midweek that will knock us back to the 40s and 50s once again.
Today: AM lingering showers. Gusty afternoon, warm. High 72.
Tonight: Dropping temps, precipitation starts as rain. Low 35.
Sunday: Some light mixed precip to start the morning, cold. High 40.
Monday: Slightly warmer, some clouds. High 53.
