Section of US 6 near Nappanee remains closed due to flooding

Sgt. Ted Bohner with the Indiana State Police Bremen Post ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- Sgt. Ted Bohner with the Indiana State Police Bremen Post reports as of Thursday morning, US 6 at Beech Road just west of Nappanee remains closed due to flooding.
Bohner stated it will most likely be closed for several days.
The closure is expected to continue causing travel issues until its reopening.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area and not to drive around barricades or INDOT trucks as the closure.
