INDIANAPOLIS -- On Thursday, Governor Mike Braun held an event with Turning Point USA, a nonprofit organization advocating for conservative politics, putting forward a proclamation stating that "[f]reedom of speech is a foundational human right that protects each person’s search for the truth and pursuit of happiness in society".

According to the governor's office, the event also saw Governor Braun commending Turning Point USA's work and requesting Indiana schools and universities "facilitate student organizations like Turning Point USA chapters that foster the values of liberty and freedom of speech in the next generation of Hoosiers."
