Thursday, July 1, 2021
It feels way more comfortable outside! Dew points have dropped 10 degrees throughout the course of the day, and the pleasant weather will stick around for the first half of the holiday weekend. Lows tonight dip into the 50s for the first time in more than a week under clear skies.
Highs will make it into the middle 70s with low humidity and lots of sunshine on Friday. There still might be some dangerous waves and currents on Lake Michigan, so stay out of the water on Friday. More sun is on the way for Saturday and Sunday, but temperatures begin to warm up. We'll be back in the 80s on Saturday and near 90 for the Fourth of July Sunday. The humidity will start to creep back in to start next week as well. The hot weather will last into Monday and Tuesday, and our next chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms arrives on Wednesday.
Tonight: Clear skies and comfortable. Low 56.
Tomorrow: Sunny. High 76.
Saturday: Sunny and a little warmer. High 82.
Sunday (Independence Day): Sunny, hot and a little more humid. High 90.
