SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Wednesday, May 15, the 200-year-old log cabin will be slowly picked up and moved to its new location on The History Museum's South Bend Campus.
The Navarre Cabin is the oldest structure in St. Joseph County.
It has sat at its current home in Leeper Park since 1904, although having moved around the park several times.
Museum officials say moving it to their campus will make it easier for them to protect and preserve it.
