ABC57 will be live at Four Winds Field all day Friday for the South Bend Cubs Opening Day.

Our live coverage begins with our 5 a.m. newscast and continues throughout the day during the 5, 5:30 and 6 p.m. newscasts as well as the 10 and 11 p.m. newscasts.

The South Bend Cubs begin their season against the Quad Cities River Bandits at 7:05 p.m.

The first 2,000 fans through the gates get a 2022 South Bend Cubs magnet schedule.

Fans will also enjoy a pre-game performance by the Grooveheads and axe throwing provided by Generation AdventurePlex.

John Vincent, resident National Anthem singer for the Chicago Cubs, will perform the National Anthem at Four Winds Field.
