South Shore Line expands Kids Ride Free Program for Spring Break

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Shore Line is expanding its Kids Ride Free program to include all trains from March 22 to April 12. This promotion covers a large portion of scheduled spring breaks across the four-county region.
The Kids Ride Free Program allows up to three children 13 and under to ride for free with a paying adult on off-peak and weekend trains.
“We’re thrilled to expand our Kids Ride Free promotion so that families can make the most of their spring break without the added expense of travel,” said Amber Kettring, Manager of Customer Service and Communications.
This spring break promotion is part of the SSL’s ongoing efforts to provide affordable, convenient, and family-friendly transportation.
To plan your trip and find schedules, you can visit the SSL website or download the app.
“Whether it’s a day in downtown Chicago, a visit to the Indiana Dunes, or a trip to South Bend, we want to make it easy for families to explore and create memories together," said Kettring.
