The remains were found to belong to 68-year-old Linda Faye Robinson, whose family reported her missing in early 2025.
The victim's family also confirmed the remains have been found.
Robinson's nephew stated she had the mental capacity of a child.
Robinson was being cared for by 66-year-old Loni Collins and his 67-year-old wife, Debra Collins. In 2025, the Collins allegedly told investigators they hadn’t seen Robinson in over a year at that time.
The Collins were arrested in July 2025 for Felony Fraud and Theft for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars in Robinson's Social Security disability checks, plus Battery, Intimidation, and Criminal Recklessness charges.
In September 2025, EPD assisted with the execution of a search warrant at the Collins' home on Fieldhouse Avenue as part of investigation.
In May, Loni entered a guilty plea agreement for one count of Theft, and his other charge was dropped. He was sentenced to 544 days in jail already served in full, since he was given 544 days of jail credit.
Debra pled guilty to one count of Fraud-Victim is an endangered adult or under the age of 18 with loss b/t $750 & (Aiding, Inducing, or Causing an Offense), a Level 5 Felony, and was sentenced to 4.5 years with one year suspended. She will serve 18 months in prison, then two years of home detention, followed by one year of probation.
