WARSAW, Ind. -- A 25-year-old South Bend man is in jail after a stolen lawnmower was recovered during a traffic stop.

The Warsaw Police Department reports a lawnmower was stolen from a local business on the evening of May 18.

Security footage shows the suspect vehicle, hauling a trailer, pull onto the business property before a man is seen exiting the vehicle and loading up the lawnmower before leaving.

The report states an investigation by the Indiana State Police resulted in a traffic stop on May 28 in South Bend.

During the stop, the lawnmower was recovered and the suspect, Jeremiah Deandre Dockery, was arrested.

Dockery was then extradited to the Kosciusko County Jail on June 9.

Police say it's likely there will be additional charges from surrounding counties.
