3 Kids, firefighter in hospital after storm blows through summer camp

INDIANAPOLIS — Three kids and one Indianapolis firefighter are in the hospital after a large thunderstorm hit a summer camp.

It happened Saturday afternoon at a reform summer camp for Jewish children.

Thunderstorms rolled in around 2 p.m. Authorities believe those affected may have been struck by lightning.

A 9-year-old boy is in critical condition. Another 9-year old girl and a 12-year-old boy are in stable condition at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis.
