21st annual 'Mom Son Dance' at Century Center sure to be 'super'

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - South Bend Venues Parks and Arts invites the public to the 21st "Mom Son Dance", with this year's theme being Super Mario World.

The event will take place on Tuesday, March 5 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Organizers say sons and their mothers or mother figures are invited to a fun night out with a live DJ, giveaways, treats, photo ops, and more.

The event is aimed at ages 3 to 12, but all are welcome.

Tickets are required and are $15 per person. You can buy yours here.

Organizers also add that any positive or important figure in the child’s life is welcome to accompany him to the dance, including grandmothers, sisters, aunts, family friends, etc.

The event page states photo booth stations will be available provided by Physicians Urgent Care.

Free parking is available in the Wayne Street garage, located on the corner of Wayne Street and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard.

Parking is also available in the Century Center lot for $5 per car (cash only).

Century Center is located at 120 Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd. in South Bend.
