ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.-- The St. Joseph County Prosecutor's Office announced 19-year-old Quadir Quoriz, of South Bend, was sentenced to 100 years in prison on Oct. 4, following a series of convictions related to violent crimes, including murder and robbery.
On Aug. 26, Quoriz was found guilty by a jury of one count of murder and a firearm enhancement in connection with the 2021 death of Ashanti Hines.
The jury’s decision marked a significant moment in the case that had drawn considerable attention from the community.
In a separate proceeding on Sept. 30, Quoriz pled guilty to robbery related to the 2021 death of Sa’Sha Agnew.
He also entered guilty pleas in two additional cases, admitting to robbery, classified as a Level 5 Felony, and two counts of Criminal Recklessness, also Level 5 Felonies.
During the sentencing hearing, the Honorable David Francisco imposed a total sentence of 100 years, which Quoriz will serve in the Indiana Department of Corrections for all four cases.
