SOUTH BEND, Ind. – More than 10,000 ghouls, goblins and superheroes flocked to Potawatomi Zoo for another year of Halloween fun.
From Friday to Sunday, the zoo was transformed into the perfect spot for safe trick or treating.
The decorations were not as scary as they usually are in the evening.
But that didn’t slow trick or treaters down at all.
One family says they come every year to show off their costumes. This year they dressed up as Disney characters. They had Woody and Jesse from the movie ‘Toy Story’ and Peter Pan and Captain Hook from ‘Peter Pan.’
The zoo was busy and lines for candy were almost a mile long.
People got to go around and look at the animals as usual, but this year the zoo had the enchanted carousel up and running.
