Worldwide water circus makes a stop in Goshen

GOSHEN, Ind. - Cirque Italia is a unique circus making using of a 35,000 gallon water stage and is making a stop in the Michiana area. The event show times will be in Goshen from September 10th through 13th.

Cirque Italia is a traveling water show created by an Italian entertainment company in 2012 that tours the entire world and is America’s first traveling water circus.

The shows the circus puts on are animal-free, displaying only the talents of what the human body is capable of.

During the pandemic, the circus is dedicated to keeping people safe by reducing attendance, following social distancing, requiring everyone age three and up to wear a face mask, providing hand sanitizing stations throughout the tent, and frequently disinfecting common areas.

Cirque Italia asks that patrons buy their tickets in advance to avoid crowds of people.

There will be multiple showings in Goshen at the Elkhart County Fairgrounds followed by an encore showing at the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds in Warsaw.

The following shows happen at the Elkhart County Fairgrounds (17746 County Road 34, Goshen):

  • September 10th at 7:30 p.m.
  • September 11th at 7:30 p.m.
  • September 12th at 1:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m., and 7:30 p.m.
  • September 13th at 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

The following shows happen at the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds (1400 E. Smith St., Warsaw):

  • September 17th at 7:30 p.m.
  • September 18th at 7:30 p.m.
  • September 19th at 1:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m., and 7:30 p.m.
  • September 20th at 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
