Sturgis man dead following vehicle crashing into tree

ABC 57 ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Mich. -- The St. Joseph County Sheriff's Office reports deputies responded to a single-vehicle crash on M66 near Blackberry Lane in Burr Oak Township around 11:42 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 27.
The report states upon arrival deputies found a vehicle had struck a tree.
The driver, a 34-year-old Sturgis man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies believe alcohol to be a factor in the crash.
