MUNCIE, Ind. -- The Indiana State Police announced a Statewide Silver Alert has been declared for 74-year-old Shonda Howard.

The Muncie Police Department is investigating Howard's disappearance.

Howard is described as a white female, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 108 pounds, white hair with hazel eyes, last seen on Thursday, December 26, at 1:17 a.m. wearing a grey shirt and black pants.

She is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
