BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- Hundreds of Michiana residents snagged a great deal on brand new appliances at the Whirlpool Appliance Sale event in Benton Harbor this weekend.
The sale offered over 300 discounted appliances for every room in your home, including KitchenAid, Maytag, Whirlpool brand ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, and even washers and dryers.
"From an impact standpoint, this does help the community. You know, people can find a great appliance at a huge discount, and knowing very well that this is helping the community would be just an added advantage from a from a monetary standpoint, if I have to quantify it, we're looking at least close to $150,000 in sales that we've been able to accomplish over the over these two days, and we are still Selling..," stated Board Member for United Way of Southwest Michigan Gokul Nair.
Not to mention, 100 percent of the proceeds from all appliances sold this weekend benefit The United Way of Southwest Michigan.
