SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The United States Attorney’s Office Northern District of Indiana announced 38-year-old Ron Deming of La Porte was sentenced to prison after a jury convicted him of Receipt of Child Pornography and one count of Possession of Child Pornography.

Deming was sentenced to 19 years in prison with 10 years of supervised release, ordered to pay $148,500 in restitution to the victims and a $25 assessment to the Amy, Vicky, and Andy Child Pornography Victim Assistance Act of 2018.

Case documents reveal Deming possessed over 30,000 still images and over 400 videos depicting child sexual abuse material.
