Starke County face-to-face with severe weather
A line of showers will move through Michiana this morning, breaking up the mugginess as you head out the door. The rain tapers off by this afternoon with highs reaching into the mid 80s alongside partly cloudy skies overhead. A rogue shower or storm may be present tonight, but almost all of our area can expect mostly cloudy conditions and lows in the upper 60s. The lull in wet weather ends Thursday midday as isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon and evening. Not everyone will see rain Thursday, especially at night, but any outdoor plans for fireworks could be supplemented with an umbrella or rain jacket. Showers and a storm or two last into Friday morning before moving out of our area, leaving behind highs in the low 80s and overcast skies heading into the weekend.
Today: AM showers. High 86.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Low 68.
Independence Day: Isolated PM thunderstorms. High 84.
Friday: AM rain. High 83.
