ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Sunday, May 12, 2024
Yet another night of possibly seeing the aurora awaits as the sun goes down, although conditions are less favorable than the past two days. The best chance to see the lights will likely be during and just after sunset, meaning the naked eye will have a trickier time deciphering the lights. Cloud cover increases overnight as lows slightly decrease into the upper 50s. The first half of Monday kicks off with partly cloudy conditions and highs approaching 80F, but showers and thunderstorms enter the picture around 5 PM and last into Tuesday with a cold front pushing southeast. Any storm activity will be non-severe, but brief heavy downpours are likely. Storms taper off and scattered showers are left behind to fill out the entirety of Tuesday with wet weather ending late Tuesday night. Wednesday will be seasonable with partly cloudy conditions.
Tonight: Increasing clouds. Low 59.
Monday: Partly cloudy, then PM thunderstorms. High 79.
Tuesday: Scattered showers. High 68.
Wednesday: Partly cloudy. High 71.
