SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- As gas prices continue to rise across Michiana, ABC57's Jordan Tolbert spoke with Molly Hart, spokeswoman for AAA.
"You know, the prices have been going up since the conflict and what's happening in Iran so we've seen an uptick in prices throughout the country. The last time we've seen high prices like this is between the Ukraine and Russia conflict, and then also when Hurricane Katrina, the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina," said Hart.
The national average for gas hovers just under four dollars on Tuesday. The average in Indiana is just under four dollars, about the same as the national number. Michigan's average is right at four dollars per gallon.
