Semi-truck strikes vehicle on S.R. 17, leaves 46-year-old man dead

ABC 57 MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- The Marshall County Coroner’s Office reports it was informed of a fatal crash between a semi-truck and passenger vehicle around 11:46 a.m., Tuesday.
The crash occurred on S.R. 17 and S.R. 8 just south of Plymouth.
The report states a Mercury Sable, driven by 46-year-old Micheal Vebert of Huntington, Ind., was traveling east on S.R. 8 when it entered the path of a semi-truck heading south on S.R. 17.
Vebert was pronounced dead at the scene by the Marshall County chief deputy coroner.
