BENTONVILLE, Ark. – Beginning April 20, Walmart employees will be required to wear a face covering during work hours. This extends to not only stores with customers but also corporate offices and distribution/fulfillment centers.
Walmart will provide all employees with a face covering if they do not have one of their own that meets the guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Employees will still have to pass daily temperature tests and health screenings for public safety, as was introduced on March 31.
Customers are not required to wear a mask to come inside, but are encouraged to do so.
