Volunteers needed to support victims of sexual assault

ST.JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The Family Justice Center is looking for volunteer advocates to provide support for victims of sexual assault.

Volunteers will provide information and emotional support in hospital emergency departments in St. Joseph County.

Volunteer advocates are also needed for the S-O-S sexual assault crisis which operates 24 hours a day. 

Volunteering is an excellent way to support survivors of sexual assault and rape and take an active role in the movement to end sexual violence.

Those interested in joining the S-O-S program will be given complimentary training.
