Victims of double fatal crash on I-94 identified
LINCOLN CHARTER TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- The Lincoln Charter Township Police Department has released the identities of the two people killed on I-94 when their car struck a semi.
Eighteen year old Jaquisha Wright of Chicago, Ill was driving and 19-year-old Rashell Allen of Holland, Michigan was a passenger in the car. Both were killed in the accident.
According to the investigation, Wright was driving westbound on I-94 and lost control of her vehicle when she swerved to avoid a piece of debris in the roadway.
Her car struck a box truck also traveling westbound, then she lost control, her car crossed the median and struck a semi heading eastbound head-on.
That semi then crossed the median and came to rest in a ditch.
