ELKHART, Ind-- Elkhart Police responded to a two-vehicle crash at approximately 3:58 p.m. The driver of a 2024 Subaru was traveling east on Greenleaf Boulevard west of the intersection of Greenleaf and Holiday Drive when they slowed at the intersection to turn north on Holiday.
The driver of a Yamaha motorcycle was traveling east on Greenleaf behind the Subaru, then attempted to pass the Subaru on the left, not realizing that the Subaru was turning left. The tire of motorcycle then crashed into the driver's side door, and the driver of the motorcycle was thrown from the bike, impacting the side mirror.
He was treated on scene for injuries to the head and arms before being transported to Elkhart General Hospital for further treatment.
