Two people killed in crash on US 30
PLYMOUTH, Ind.— Two people were killed in a crash on U.S. 30 on August 24, according to the Plymouth Police Department.
Police were called to the scene of a crash at 7:24 a.m. on Tuesday on U.S. 30, west of Oak Drive.
Two semi-trucks and a passenger vehicle were involved in the crash in the right eastbound lane of U.S. 30.
A Freightliner rear ended a Nissan Rogue that was stopped in traffic, according to police.
The Rogue was then pushed into a third vehicle, a Peterbilt semi-tanker, police said.
Both occupants of the Rogue were pronounced dead at the scene by the Marshall County Coroner’s Office.
The driver of the Rogue was identified as 19-year-old Patric Mcglynn of Connecticut and the passenger was identified as 21-year-old John Paul David Eckel of Laporte, according to the Plymouth Police Department.
The crash remains under investigation.
