Two arrested on drug charges following search by IDOC parole agents

Two people were arrested on drug charges after Marshall County deputies and K-9 Diesel assisted the Indiana Department Corrections at a home on Kenilworth Road in Argos, according to the Marshall County Sheriff's Department.

Deputies said suspected methamphetamine, narcotics, paraphernalia and other drug related items were found in the home.

Scott Lewis, 43, was taken into custody on a parole violation and preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of cocaine or a narcotic drug, legend drug deception, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of device or substance to interfere with drug or alcohol screening test, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia.

Marlanna Howell, 43, was taken into custody on preliminary charges of neglect of a dependent, possession of methamphetamine, possession of cocaine or a narcotic drug, legend drug deception, maintaining a common nuisance, resisting law enforcement, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia.
