Two arrested, firearms and over 1,000 fentanyl pills recovered following drug investigation
St. Joseph County Jail: Deshawn Davidson Jr., Jaylen Green SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Bend Police Department reports two suspects have been arrested and charged following an ongoing investigation into illegal drugs in the city.
Investigation also led the recovery of multiple illegally possessed firearms and over 1,000 fentanyl pills.
The suspects, 28-year-old Jaylen Green and 21-year-old Deshawn Davidson Jr., were arrested following a traffic stop and the execution of two residential search warrants.
Green is charged with Dealing in a Narcotic Drug, Possession of a Narcotic Drug, Possession of a Machine Gun, Unlawful Carrying of a Handgun, and Unlawful Carrying of a Handgun (prior felony conviction).
Davidson is charged with Dealing in a Narcotic Drug and Dealing in Methamphetamine.
Police specifically recovered four firearms, two machine gun conversion devices, 1,000+ M30 fentanyl pills, approximately 114 grams of fentanyl powder, approximately 210 grams of methamphetamine, and other firearm accessories and drug paraphernalia.
